It’ll be a big year for Parnell. I, like a lot of fans, would love to see him slot in to be the Mets’ closer of the future once that K-Rod fella says “so long.” Parnell’s problem is he had the tendency to completely melt down. When he was on, he was lights out, but once he found a bat or two, you knew he was in trouble. Here’s hoping he makes some significant progress this year.
