Why the Mets?
I chose the Mets for several reasons. I’m from New York, and if I want to really get the sports fan experience, I’ll have to watch the game surrounded by other Mets fans. I could have chosen the Yankees, but that’s too easy. My grandma liked the Mets. And after I found out my boyfriend was seeing the Twins play the Mets in June? Well, I had to become a Mets fan just to piss him off.
