I was always against it, mostly because I don’t know what would happen to the DH - which better NEVER get to the National League - but, wow, it’s hard not to daydream about sports in NY, and the Northeast, if the Mets, Yankees, Red Sox and Phillies were all in the same division.
What’s more fun? Playing the Yankees and Red Sox on a regular basis to win a division or having the opportunity to beat the Yankees and Red Sox in the World Series.
I think I lean towards beating them in a World Series.
